Happy Children’s Day: Childpreneurs

If you know what you want and start early in your life then you can achieve the goals that you have aimed for. Entrepreneurship is definitely about starting early but how much early.
Let me ask you a question before proceeding further.Entrepreneur, what comes to your mind when read or hear this word. Definitely, a guy in his 20’s struggling and working individually on his dreams. Now let’s talk about children, what does it conjure in your mind. I can guess it, playing schooling and fun that’s what childhood is about right?? At a tender age when everyone is supposed to be enjoying a life free from all the burdens, there are some children who enjoy their life while turning their dreams into reality.
Yes, there are kids who have launched their own companies at an age when most of us didn’t know what entrepreneurship is, let’s get familiar with some of these names.

Cory Nieves (co-founder CEO Mr. Cory’s cookies)

At an age when we are busy sneaking into the cupboards searching for something to eat Cory, a 10-year-old is the founder of Mr. Cory’s cookies. His business may not be of a big size but at his age, it certainly commands some attention. Every weekend Nieves pulls out his wagon and goes around the streets of Englewood, New Jersey selling his cookies to his loyal customers.
But what makes his cookies so special. Nieves says, "Well, it's made with love. And they're all-natural. And no preservatives. None."
Each cookie costs you one U.S. dollar and on a weekend he easily sells up to a thousand pieces.
From making an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres show to having 30,000 followers on Instagram he is on his way to rock the world.

Leanna Archer (Founder CEO- Leanna’s hair)

Leanna Archer, 17 years old is CEO and founder of Leanna's hair- a six-figure business. It all started when Leanna was 9 years old. After discovering her great grandmother’s recipe for hair problems, she started selling homemade pomade based on it.
When the business increased she also added a variety of products such as conditioners, cleansers etc. She also has done social service and donated to build schools and support education in Haiti, the country she belongs to.

Moziah Bridges (co-founder: Mo’s Bows)

After learning sewing from his grandmother, Moziah started selling Handmade bow ties online and to several stores at just an age of 9.
He went onto the famed show for entrepreneurs, Sharktank to raise money for his company at an age of 13. It turned out to be a wonderful day for him as Daymond John of shark tank agreed to guide him through his journey. Daymond John stated that when Moziah came in with his single mother it reminded him of his situation when he was a child and that was a major reason behind him mentoring Moziah.
Right now Mo’s Bows annual turnover is hundred thousand dollars with a Bright future ahead of him.

There are many more such children who have started working on their dreams early on.

I hope you don’t compare your childhood and imagine how you wasted it because everyone has its own story to tell, and I am sure you also will have one.

Happy children’s day.
